Behold, Something New!

After months of planning, and weeks of packing boxes, we wrapped up our very first Genesis Box. What an amazing way to close out 2020! We are overjoyed and filled with gratitude. Whether you purchased a box, follow along on Social Media, read our occasional emails and blogs, or all of the above, we want to say THANK YOU. Our dream to empower creatives and celebrate culture around the world has come to life so vividly through your support and encouragement. We are savoring these feelings of newness and joy:

A Box of Faithfulness

To us, our first Genesis Box showcases God’s faithfulness. Over a few months, our team encountered several roadblocks with international shipping. There were times when we weren’t sure that the products would arrive on time, if at all. Through all of this, God continued to provide in unexpected (and sometimes funny) ways. As those of you who ordered a box know, each box was delivered on time for Christmas... God came through!

We were also blown away by our amazing artisan partners - their passion for their home, their willingness to go above and beyond in product presentation, and their eagerness to share their hearts with us. This box would not have been possible without them, and we are so thankful for God’s hand in these connections.

What Comes Next for Our Artisan Partners?

As we enter into our next phase of partnership with Samir, Angel, and the women of NuVenture Nepal, we ask for prayers over their dreams. Whether those dreams are attending school, buying a home, or starting a business, our team plans to continue relationships and prayer with our incredible friends.

In alignment with our vision to empower global micro-entrepreneurs, we plan to offer each of our Nepal and Nicaragua artisans with access to an entrepreneurship network and certification courses through Creating Jobs Inc. We hope that this multi-week program will enhance their business acumen while encouraging them to seek their identity in Christ. My amazing teammate Kareena has taken the course and plans to guide our artisan partners through it. We look forward to sharing more about this journey in the weeks to come!
